Simon’s question:
I’ve heard there’s a heap more cannabinoid receptors have been discovered, but the amount is vague. A local person has claimed there’s hundreds all through the body, someone else has stated there are 5 all up, and I saw a recent report that the third receptor has just been discovered. I am curious: How many do you know of? Cheers
Uwe’s answer:
According to my latest deep dive into the literature (early 2021) there are a total of 34 receptor sites that bind with THC and CBD alone. More specifically, there are 5 TRPs, 8 GPCR, 20 cataloged neurotransmitters, hormones, cytokines and others, and 1 PPAR).
