Study Spotlight #23: Case series finds clinically significant improvement in sleep
A UK-based team of researchers describes a case series of sixty-one patients diagnosed with insomnia who had been treated with cannabinoid-based therapeutics. Follow-up results one, three, and six months after initiation of cannabis treatment showed improvements in self‐reported sleep quality, generalized anxiety, and general health‐related quality of life, with >40% of patients experiencing clinically significant improvement in sleep quality. About one in ten patients reported an adverse effect.
