The effect of β-caryophyllene on food addiction and its related behaviors: A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial

Key Findings:  In women with obesity and food addiction, supplementation with oral β-caryophyllene significantly improved food addiction scores. It did not however have an effect on other metrics, including body composition, eating patterns, appetite or intake, physical activity level, or mental health.
