Distribution of inhaled volatile β-caryophyllene and dynamic changes of liver metabolites in mice
Key Findings: This mouse study evaluated inhaled β-caryophyllene (BCP) in order to better quantify serum levels and metabolic activity of the compound. BCP was found widely distributed in the brain, liver, and adipose tissue following inhalation.
