Cannabis and cannabinoid use in autism spectrum disorder: a systematic review

Key Findings:  The authors copied a list of noted therapeutic effects including: hyperactivity, episodes of aggression and self-mutilation, difficulty sleeping, anxiety, restlessness, psychomotor agitation, irritability, aggressiveness perseverance, and depression. In addition, they reported an improvement in cognition, sensory sensitivity, attention, social interaction, and language. Most commonly noted adverse effects included sleep disorders, restlessness, nervousness and changes in appetite.
