Key Findings:  Based on body mass, non-obese patients undergoing partial nephrectomy had significantly higher levels of anandamide (AEA) N-oleoylethanolamine (OEA), and N-palmitoylethanolamine (PEA). This information could help develop novel therapeutic options that target the endocannabinoid system in preventing renal ischemia.
