Continuous spike-wave of slow sleep in a patient with KCNB1-related epilepsy responsive to highly purified cannabidiol: a case report and comparison with literature

Key Findings:  The authors describe the case of a 12-year-old boy with severe seizures due to a pathogenic KCNB1 variant refractory to anti-epileptics. At age 11, he was started on highly purified CBD and has been seizure-free for 18 months. In addition, the patient showed improvements in EEG and social skills.
