Cannabidiol safety considerations: Development of a potential acceptable daily intake value and recommended upper intake limits for dietary supplement use

Key Findings:  Using data from published human clinical trials and toxicity studies in animal models this author identified safe and acceptable daily dietary supplementation levels of cannabidiol (CBD) of 0.43 mg/kg of body weight per day for the general population including children, and an upper limit (UL) of 70 mg/d, and 60-100mg/day for healthy adults not attempting childbearing.
