Key Findings:  Pregnant rats were given cannabidiol (CBD) in a model of gastroschisis (GS) to evaluate potential anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, and antioxidant properties. Results found that CBD had beneficial effects on intestinal loops and decreased anti-inflammatory markers in GS rats.
