Key Findings:  This cross-sectional survey of patients with self-reported inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) found that medical cannabis users with IBD report fewer emergency room visits and perceive a benefit in symptom relief, and have few if any serious adverse effects. Less than five percent reported side effects, which included drowsiness, grogginess, memory lapse, dry mouth, dry eyes, anxiety/depression, and paranoia.
