Activation of Cannabinoid Receptor 2 Ameliorates DSS-Induced Colitis through Inhibiting NLRP3 Inflammasome in Macrophages

Key Findings:  This study shows that activation of CB2 receptors ameliorates DSS-induced colitis by enhancing macrophage autophagy via the AMPK–mTOR–P70S6K pathway, thereby suppressing NLRP3 inflammasome activation and downstream inflammatory responses.
