Patient's perceptions of the cannabis-psychosis link--a systematic review

Key Findings:  This systematic review of six studies, including 97 psychotic subjects, found that the majority of patients with schizophrenia or recent psychosis disagreed with a causal link between cannabis use and their mental illness, attributing their views to multifactorial, psychological, social, biological, esoteric, and irrational factors, and often citing the lack of a clear temporal sequence of events as evidence against a causal relationship.
