PRIMARY STUDY

Cannabinoid receptors: Their impact in epidermal differentiation and possible role in treatment of psoriasis

Key Findings:  Cannabinoid receptors embedded in the human skin are involved in differentiation of keratinocytes and as such may play a role in the treatment of psoriasis. The 3-day application of a CB1 agonist significantly improved inflammation in a rodent model of psoriasis.
