Key Findings:  Resulting data found that pre- and cotreatment with BCP significantly protected the test animals from altered structural, biochemical, molecular, and immunohistochemical parameters. BCP was found to induce numerous cardioprotective effects. More specifically, BCP demonstrated anti-cardiac hypertrophic, anti-tachycardial, antioxidant, anti-apoptotic, and anti-endothelial dysfunction effects.
