Olfactory Exposure to β-Caryophyllene Increases Testosterone Levels in Women's Saliva

Key Findings:  Resulting data revealed that β-caryophyllene (BCP) significantly increased the salivary concentration of testosterone but not estrogen. The authors posit that β-caryophyllene may be a relatively safe remedy for women with decreased libido.
