Therapeutic potential of cannabidiol-rich Cannabis sativa to mitigate the severity of inflammation and pain: A pre-clinical study

Key Findings:  In this animal model of pain and inflammation CBD, CBDA, and Δ9-THC were major cannabinoids in the cannabis sativa genotype CIM-CS-64 (CSFE), which markedly reduced the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines without causing any cytotoxicity.
