Biological bases for a possible effect of cannabidiol in Parkinson's disease

Key Findings:  6 pre-clinical trials showed neuro-protective effects after treatment with CBD; 3 found anti-dyskinetic induced by CBD; 3 human trials tested CBD in PD patients: an open-label study, a case series, and a randomized controlled trial—all reported therapeutic effects of CBD on non-motor symptoms.
