PRIMARY STUDY

Cannabinoid actions at TRPV channels: effects on TRPV3 and TRPV4 and their potential relevance to gastrointestinal inflammation

Key Findings:  This evaluation of inflamed gastric cells from rats and the role of transient receptor potential (TRP) channels when exposed to Δ(9)-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) finds that both change the activity and the expression of TRPV channels and could present future therapeutic targets for treatment.
