A Review on the Bioactivity of Cannabinoids on Zebrafish Models: Emphasis on Neurodevelopment

Key Findings:  This review concludes that zebrafish may prove a useful model for cannabinoid exposure studies. Also emphasized is the need for research into the full spectrum of cannabinoids, beyond the better-known cannabidiol (CBD)and ∆9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), as well as studies looking at the mechanism of cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system and their role in neurological disorders.
