PRIMARY STUDY

Specific Compositions of Cannabis sativa Compounds Have Cytotoxic Activity and Inhibit Motility and Colony Formation of Human Glioblastoma Cells In Vitro

Key Findings:  In glioblastoma multiform (GBM) cells, (a model for glioma brain tumors), certain cannabis compounds and fractions prevented GBM neurospheres from forming and also induced cell death suggesting potential therapeutic uses in the treatment of highly resistant glioblastoma multiforme.
