PRIMARY STUDY

An Evaluation of Understudied Phytocannabinoids and Their Effects in Two Neuronal Models

Key Findings:  THCV and CBDV both inhibited cannabinoid signaling in mice hippocampal neurons via the effects on CB1 and 2-AG-mediated signaling. Additional research is recommended on other ‘minor’ phytocannabinoids and highlights the need to test the interactions of phytocannabinoids with all components of the cannabinoid signaling system
