Cannabidiol increases the nociceptive threshold in a preclinical model of Parkinson's disease

Key Findings:  CBD reduces hyperalgesia and allodynia in an animal model of PD; CB1 and TRPV1 receptor activation may be involved in CBD-induced analgesia; additionally, CBD may induce analgesic effects increasing level of the endogenous cannabinoid anandamide.
