Medical cannabis as an alternative therapeutics for Parkinsons' disease: Systematic review

Key Findings:  5 non-controlled trials and 4 non-controlled trials report positive effects on motor and non-motor symptoms respectively. These effects have not been confirmed by the few and small randomly controlled trials (RCT): 1 RCT found a reduction of levodopa-induced dyskinesias; another a reduction in anxiety and tremor amplitude; and 3 RCTs showed no effect on motor/non-motor symptoms.
