PRIMARY STUDY

Fatty Acid Amide Hydrolase Inhibition Normalises Bladder Function and Reduces Pain Through Normalising the Anandamide/Palmitoylethanolamine Ratio in the Inflamed Bladder of Rats

Key Findings:  The therapeutic effect of FAAH inhibitors is not related to increased level of anandamide (AEA) levels but rather a return to balance between AEA and palmitoylethanolamine level ratio.
